The Gaol-Libraries

Less hospitable compared to the rest of the Library, the gaol was built during the rule of the Bloody-Handed King to contain individuals deemed "unsavoury" or "treacherous" by the King, as well as serving as a place to subdue and quell their... experiments. Under the Second Librarian, a number of cells on the surface level have been repurposed for a little library--although uncomparable to the grandeur of the Crystallarieum, it is a little prison of knowledge and illumination; as for the deeper cells, they have been kept for certain other purposes, purposes unspeakable in daylight.
